. HEAD GRADE PARENT: There is one Head Grade Parent per grade. He/She is responsible to see that each and every room has at least one Room Parent and coordinates with these parents in preparing for the various task a teacher may need help with.

HEAD GRADE PARENTS meet with the P.T.F. Co- Chair person several times throughout the year. This is an easy position for someone with good organizational skills.Head Grade Parents makes sure the PTF envelops are stuffed for that grade.

2. HOMEROOM PARENTS: As a homeroom parent, you will be responsible to help the teacher with various classroom tasks. IE. Finding parent readers, assisting with parties, making copies etc. Helps the Head Grade Parents makes sure the PTF envelops are stuffed for that classroom.

3. FUNDRAISER COMMITTEE: The PTF runs two major Fundraisers a year. Committee sign ups are a few months before the event.

4. YEARBOOK COMMITTEE: This committee works all year. There is a camera at the school that is available for taking pictures of the students throughout the year. When all pictures are in, the committee works on layouts and typing copy. They are also responsible for taking and counting orders and for the monies collected at order time. This committee is busiest in January thru March (when the book is due at the printers). They also distribute the books to the students.

5. CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP: This committee actually starts in the summer. They purchase inexpensive items that the children can purchase during the week of the workshop. Christmas workshop is not a money maker for the P.T.F. It is just a fun time for the kids to be able to purchase little gifts for their families and friends. Parents who volunteer for this committee come in during the workshop and help the children shop and wrap their purchases.

6. BOOK FAIR: This is held twice a year in the school library. Children are given the opportunity to come to the library to purchase books. Parents volunteer to help the children shop and keep track of the money.

7. Field Day: This is held towards the end of the school year any parent may volunteer to work this all day event.
